This is a studio of copies and prototypes, where digital technology intersects with analog materials and imagination. In the center of the studio is a large table strewn with colored pencils, pieces of play dough, and stacks of paper. At one end of the table is a computer with graphics programs for 3D modeling and animation, and next to it is a drawing tablet and a 3D printer for creating physical copies. All this is surrounded by shelves with finished clay models and handmade mock-ups.

Getting a picture for a dialogue is very pleasant. Creating copies of copies is one of our favorite practices. The past year, we have been actively working with the symbol «two» as an image of secondary and repetition. Twos overlap the landscape, thoughts and spaces. Being first and in the vanguard is some kind of perfectionist torture that destroys the creator himself and the environment around him, with the hands of this «creator». Viruses, Tik Toks, digital mediums — clearly demonstrate the absence of the original. And the pursuit of ephemeral primacy is a capitalist or even accelerationist capitalist method. In our practice, we are looking for ways to contain the capitalist race and move to reasonable consumption, and not inflate the creator’s ego to the size of erasing the planet.

It’s a simple story. I didn’t plan to participate, but it so happened that someone dropped out of the copying process and here I am.
Many people took a lot of small things with them when it was time to flee Russia, so did I. I have a pocket thermal printer, but there is no paper for it and no money. I had to rummage through my pockets and bags. So I found a check from Montenegro, where I was visiting friends and where every day was special, unlike all the others.

When I saw the previous drawing, i noticed similarities with the old inglish fresco and decided to continue developing this idea. Perhaps it is about the dialogue between the jesters. They seem to devour each other, and in my work I also illustrate a dangerous situation (with a snake, a common hero of historical frescoes) but two opposite reactions. I like to use lately as a color solution as if the vision of warmth of the senses. Therefore the palette from orange to blue. it is a story about teeth, smoke coming from the mouth and frightened eyes.
